Grain includes third-party software, icons, and typefaces. Their authors retain their respective rights. This page records the materials that require a public notice or have terms beyond a standard open-source package license.

Untitled UI Icons
Grain uses Untitled UI Icons. © 2025 Untitled UI. The icons are used as part of the Grain application and are subject to the Untitled UI License Agreement.
- The license permits use in personal and commercial end products.
- The icons may not be sold, sublicensed, or distributed on their own, whether original or modified.
- They may not be used to create a derivative icon library or a UI kit, library, or template for resale.
The public Untitled UI Icons repository provides the icon-specific license notice.

Inter typeface
Grain self-hosts the Inter font. Copyright © 2016 The Inter Project Authors. Inter is licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
The source font and complete license text are available from the Inter project.

Open-source software
Grain also uses third-party open-source software. Its dependencies are reviewed and recorded for every release, including their declared licenses and any additional obligations. Most are distributed under permissive licenses such as the MIT License and Apache License 2.0.
The versioned third-party notice record is maintained alongside each Grain release. Questions about these notices can be sent through Grain's support channel.
